Lace & Pearls || Elegant Seattle Wedding: Alex & Viktoriya

This Elegant Seattle Wedding happened on a beautiful and sunny day at the end of September. I had the immerse pleasure of photographing my nephew Alex and his now wife Viktoriya. I loved shooting their wedding: easy-going, relaxed and sweet! From the start they knew where they wanted to go for their portraits – Seattle it was with it’s Great Wheel and strong, but beautiful, buildings on background.

Aren’t they just perfect together? I’ve known them for A-G-E-S! Well, it’s understandable since I’m Alex’s aunt 🙂 I’ve seen how they’ve transformed into beautiful, caring, sweet, and compassionate young people. Their decision to marry was pretty sudden, but expected! and the time between proposal and wedding was 3 very short months! Can you imagine planning your entire wedding just in three months? Well, they did it and did it well.

Tell me you don’t feel their love’s breeze from these photos!elegant seattle wedding (more…)

Freeway Park Engagement Session || Nathan & Kristina

I can hardly describe my excitement about sharing these photos with you today. Why? Because my niece said “yes” and is getting married to this rugged handsome Louisiana boy. September is still warm and inviting and it doesn’t feel like the Autumn is just around the corner. It’s favorite month among the engaged to get married. Well, it’s too early for these two though 🙂 Their wedding will be in December just right around Christmas time and I am already anticipating and getting impatient for their Grand Day! I know it will be Gorgeous. But fist things first. Engagement!

Kristina and Nate took me to a Freeway Park in Seattle to take some of their engagement photos. Then we walked a short distance to exceptionally beautiful St. James Cathedral to capture some more. I love Seattle with its eclectic sites. You can find here anything… and I mean it: a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g! There are romantic parks with lots of flowers, greenery and ornate benches, graffiti walls with monster sculptures and rough looking pavements, historic sites with old worn out buildings and some great looking statures, modern glass and iron parks… There is Pike Place Market and Space Needle, for holy sakes! Yes, I love Seattle and would not want to move anywhere else.. not in this lifetime at least. 🙂

Let’s just enjoy the photos I took of these lovebirds.

Intimate Wedding: Priyana & Travis | Married || Seattle Wedding Photographer

This was very intimate Indian wedding down by the water at Lincoln Park.

I met Priyana and Travis just a month before their wedding. Yep! you read it right, just a month away and Travis proposed her a month before.  However, their story started way long before as they have known each other very long time, since elementary school to be exact. They were meant for each other! Nothing could’ve separated them.

I loved the atmosphere of that small and intimate wedding. Travis and Priyana were surrounded by the people who loved and supported them. The love between these two was so sincere and so vivid! It was a privilege to document their Big Day.

Horse Ranch Wedding, Snohomish: Taylor and Robert || Seattle Wedding Photographer

I finally met Taylor and Robert about month and a half before their horse ranch wedding when they came to Taylor sister’s wedding.  At first, our communication was limited to phone and emailing because Robert and Taylor live in Washington DC where they are finishing their education. 🙂 Since both of them are from here, Pacific Northwest, and all their families still live here it was decided that their wedding will be held here, at her parent’s house.

Some weddings not only show case the love between two people, but also their love for their friends and family. Taylor and Robert’s wedding was beautiful in so many ways. Taylor’s mom was the one who decorated and organized this gorgeous wedding and her attention to detail was amazing. Elegance was everywhere. Every corner, every little place of their huge property was decorated with love and warmth. Still, the most beautiful thing to me was the sense of community. Robert and Taylor were surrounded by the people they loved and who loved them. It made the day so much more than just a gorgeous celebration. It became a timeless memory. I loved every second!

Enjoy!

Bozarth Mansion Wedding, Spokane: Sofiya & Andrew Married

Bozarth Mansion Wedding: As promised, here is the post for my lovely niece’s wedding. I hope you remember her engagement photos I took downtown Seattle. Although they live in Spokane, they really wanted something different for their Engagement, something very urban.

It has been such a privilege to walk with them on the road to marriage. They could not have chosen a more beautiful day to wed; although, I should admit, it was hot! as the weather in Eastern Washington can be in July. Sofiya could not have looked any more radiant and Andrew could not have been any happier finally to have Sofiya all for himself! Everything was perfect and stunning, but their is infinitely more beautiful than anything else I photographed. That is what really moves me. Here’s some images from their day.
