Norwegian Kransekake and Rowboat || Greenlake Wedding, Seattle

Erin and Nick are one gorgeous couple! I had the best time with them before the wedding and then documenting their Big Day. Since Erin has Norwegian background, they’ve decided to move from traditional American (over the top) cakes and sweets to Kransekake – very interesting looking traditional Norwegian cake and other fall pies and pastries.

The tradition didn’t end with the cakes and decorations, they were seen everywhere. First of, her dress: this classic cream satin dress was her grandmother’s (altered of course)! I never thought that dress from 1950s could look that good in our modern days. Erin looked so very classy and beautiful! Good looking Nick complimented her so very well 🙂

What I loved the most about their wedding is that there were no rush, no stress (I didn’t feel any), no scowls or anything of the sort. There were only smiles, good humor, gentle touches, nice & laid back atmosphere. I loved every minute!
